Manuscript on paper, in a cursive hand, of a version of a long poem. The manuscript opens with "The Dedication," "Quare scribat," "Poemati hujus occasio," and "Why & of what he would write." These prefatory pieces are followed by "Phyllis, Title First, Of Age and Life" in 192 stanzas; a brief "Haec vita reprobata;" and "Phyllis, Title second, Of Vertue and Fortune" (130 stanzas present).
